Creating functionality for interactivity
While using any interaction in Elucidat, for example drag and drop, we have to use drop target to assign the drop location.
1. Click on the edit icon on any dropper.
All the edit options will appear.
2. Here we can select the correct drop locations
Branching of slides
When you have a lot of slides and need to navigate through different branching slides, you can use ‘Branching view’ button to view your branching.
After clicking the ‘Branching view’ button you will see the branching of all your slides
Assessment and result page
While creating a page from the page type, you can insert the questions and result pages from the layout mode.
Elucidat has an audio player in the bottom of the page by default. If you want to add an audio, you can change the position of the audio player from the settings.
Another way to add audio is to add the audio player from the layout and add the audio.
1. For adding the videos in Elucidat, go to ‘Layout’. Click on the + icon and click on ‘Media and Imagery’.
2. Then select the video from the options
3. Go to author view to check the video player.
4. For adding a video file, click on edit icon and then navigate to video option and then click upload.
Quiz and results:
There are three different type of questions in Elucidat:
- Knowledge check
Assessment are designed to test the learner and there will be no immediate feedback, whereas ‘Knowledge check’ will provide immediate feedback.
Surveys are designed to obtain information and present it back to the learner. There will be no correct or incorrect feedback.
There are two type of results in elucidate. One is score summary and another is feedback graph. We can also use clips to show custom pass or fail page based on the score of the student. Default result page can capture the score and show the details. By using rules, we can redirect the learner to different pages based on the score.
